Datum: 31.October 2023

The H2-diplo office in Astana has organized a first study trip for a Kazakh delegation that aimed to enhance the knowledge and collaboration between Kazakhstan and Germany in the field of green hydrogen technologies and policies.

The study tour, taking place from 16th to 20th of October, provided a unique opportunity for representatives from various sectors in Kazakhstan, including ministries, universities, industry associations, and the energy sector, to gain valuable insights from Germany’s experience in developing and implementing hydrogen-related strategies. The diverse delegation fostered productive discussions both within the group and with European counterparts, significantly contributing to the global green hydrogen agenda.

Notably, the delegation included high-level officials: the Chairman of the Committee on Ecology and Natural Resources, a member of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and the Vice Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Their participation underscored the importance of this initiative in shaping Kazakhstan’s energy future.
