Future Forum Green Hydrogen – Adding a geopolitical perspective to the global green hydrogen market ramp-up

The Future Forum Green Hydrogen (FFGH) is a series of events designed to incorporate foreign policy issues and geopolitical aspects into international discussions about green hydrogen. It addresses decision makers from politics and the private sector as well as think tanks and scientists. FFGH promotes the dialogue on the opportunities and challenges of an international hydrogen market and bridges the perspectives of fossil fuel exporting nations, transit countries, countries with advanced hydrogen production planning and potential buyer countries. With the events under the umbrella of FFGH, H2-diplo supports the exchange on a coherent global governance and trade regime and a just transition supported by green hydrogen.
COP28 is over and H2-diplo was part of it with the side event “Fertilizing the Future: Using Green Hydrogen Value Chains to Address the Climate-Food-Security Nexus”, co-hosted by the Federal Foreign Office, the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture, and UNIDO.
