H2-diplo Office

Kazakhstan

Official opening: June 7, 2023

Kazakhstan, with its vast potential for renewable energies, has adopted a strategy to achieve carbon neutrality by 2060. Green hydrogen and its derivates are meant to help achieve this goal. The H2-diplo office in Astana supports the development of green hydrogen’s role in Kazakhstan, complementing the hydrogen activities taking place within the German-Kazakh energy dialogue conducted by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Action.
