Nigeria is currently the largest oil producer in Africa, but aims for 20% emissions reduction by 2030. Nigeria is ambitious to increase their share of renewable energies significantly and aims to become climate neutral by 2060.
The H2-diplo office in Abuja supports the German Federal government’s political dialogue with Nigeria within the framework of the German-Nigerian energy partnership and is advising on the potentials green hydrogen can offer.
